"So, I have a 1995 mariner, and while I know I can hook it up to my older controls (with ALOT of wire splicing), I'd rather get a new set...
Question is, would any quicksilver controls hook up to my motor?
I've seen series 2000 and 4000 controls, and wondering which to buy. I don't just want to take the local boat shop's word, as they seem to always steer me towards the most expensive (or at least the highest profit margin) and not always to what will just work and give me the best cluck for my buck...
