Quick Connect Fuel Line

You don't need to.The fuel connector allows you to disconnect the portable tank easily.So if you have a quick connector on the tank,still easily disconnected.

You can fairly easy just add a OMC type connector if your creative it is just for convenience. I would say yes at least put one on the tank and you can let the engine run out of fuel between uses will keep the carb clean.

Thank you. I have a quick connector at the tank but not at the motor.

What I do is put it in a barrel of water when I get home and let the engine warm up and disconnect the fuel line at the motor but you should be OK with just start the motor and disconnect the fuel line and by the time it runs out of gas the thermostat has opened and flushed out the motor. Plus I have a little hole in the barrel so it just drains out by itself. All set for the next outing.

Ahhh, that's why it takes so long to run out of gas. Thanks. I like the hole in the barrel idea.
