Noticed on forum that all forum posts have replies. Not mine. 2001 50hp 4 stroke Mercury, carb #3329-857102, leaking fuel around plunger rod. Rubber bellows are deteriorated are gone. Can anyone reply to why this is happening? Do the rubber bellows prevent the leakage or they there only for debris protection? Please help from someone familiar with these carbs. Thanks
