I am running without a Thermos

I am running without a Thermostat in my Volvo penta aq125a engine is this good or Bad ??When i run WOT for alittle while the motor will reach temp up to around 200 degrees when i slow down it cools down the engine.Is it good to run without Thermostat or would boat run cooler with a Thermostat installed ??????
 
Do not do it.. it can cause th

Do not do it.. it can cause the motor to overheat. A restriction is neccessary in the thermostat housing to create a pressure differential in the engine block.

"I ran ours without a t-stat once. It never got up to normal operating temp, and it sucked gas like crazy. Don't do it. There would really be no advantage."
