Did these motors come out with a fuel pump? I have one with a fuel pump and can't find a replacement or repair kit. I only plan on running on the internal tank, mine also has a connection for a remote tank. If the pump isn't needed how can I remove it and plug the port?

Thanks for any help

There was an optional fuel pump to run with a bigger tank.--------Finding / making a replacement diaphragm should be extremely easy for whatever pump is now on your motor !!----Pictures ?--Don't want to do that ?---------Just remove the pump and find the threaded fitting for the pulse port .--------------Or find a small piece of steel / aluminum plate.--------Drill 2 holes and blank off the location for the pump.

Thanks, racerone, was hoping it could be removed. You are saying the pluse port will be threaded, correct? If not I will make a block off plate.

These motors left the factory prepared for the optional pump.-----------The pulse port was threaded.-------Had a plug 307272 in it.---------Now they are very proud of this plug as in $$$ wise.---------Should not be hard to plug it with an alternate part or just leave it on there.

Wondering....... Why do away with that option? Just close off the external tank valve and use the engine's fuel tank.
