Secret ???------------------What motor are you talking about ??????-------------There are some near the reed valves to increase crankcase compression ( better scavenging )----------------Some go in the exhaust to smooth out and direct exhaust flow.-----------------You need to give as much information as you can about YOUR motor !!!!!!!

The only filler blocks on that model would be the metal ones, exhaust tuning baffle blocks which are bolted to the block/crankcase in the exhaust port area.

The 90 HP block did not use filler blocks anywhere when it came from the factory !!!---------They where used on the 140 HP models.

Racerone.... Strange that my 1981 90hp parts book shows the inner and outer baffle plate (tuned) as being allocated to the 90hp model. However, the associated gaskets are allocated only to the 140hp model. At the time, memory failing somewhat, I simply and quickly glanced at the parts book to place my reply BUT in checking further, it is obvious that the book is wrong and must be a very early edition, later to be corrected no doubt.

So, Bigwiggle, disregard my reply as it is in error.

Damn, I thought I was wrong once before but I was mistaken! (grin)
