Question about 2R78R 1978 2 hp

I'm not getting any spark in this outboard. I was thinking about ordering an ignition tune up kit I found online to see if that would fix things. Am I headed in the right direction or should I be looking elsewhere in the motor? What would come in the ignition tune up kit?
