Question about 1976 Johnson 70 hp

Have a question about a fuel filter I have a 70 hp Johnson should I put a inline fuel filter on it? I have replaced fuel line from tank to motor bout wasn’t sure about fuel filter, it didn’t have one on it.

On the inlet cover for the fuel pump there should be a fine screen.----All you really need on that motor.
