Anyone know the secret behind

Anyone know the secret behind putting in a quad seal?

I rebuilt my upper and i am now mating the upper and lower but i cannot get the quad seal to pass a pressure test. I have tested the upper and lower individually and they maintain 15lbs just fine.

Any ideas? I am thinking about using "perfect seal" but am unsure.
