QD-18 1957 lower unit seals

I am looking to reseal the lower unit on a 1957 Qd-18.There is not a complete kit listed that I can find. All kits that I can locate
list a kit for starting with 1958 but nothing for 1955-57. Does Sierra or OMC make a kit for the earlier model QD's? Are the lowers on 1955-57 different than later models? Also which impeller does the QD 18 take? Thanks for any help.

I believe in 58 they went to the smaller gearcase on the QD motors.

So does that mean that a seal kit for a 18 hp 1957 FD will work in 1957 QD?

Look up the part # on this site.----------It likely is the same.--------This site seems / is very confused and they do not list a 10 hp for 57.--------------There are other ways to confim this, but I have not the time today.

The prop shaft seal was changed in mid-1957. Seal kit for the newer version is 18-2684. The kit will also work on the early models, but the prop shaft seal won't fit. Early prop shaft seal is part number 302495.
