Put a fuel pump repair kit on fuel pump 93 evinrude 6hp

Put a fuel pump repair kit on my fuel pump and it still will not stay running at trolling speed should I replace the fuel pump or is there something else I should look for

Testing is required !--------------These fuel pumps are elegantly simple and rarely fail.-----------------There may be an issue with the crankcase compression that drives the pump.--------------So fill the carburetor with fuel and start the motor.-----------Disconnect the fuel line to the carburetor and see how fuel flows from the pump.
