"On a 1995 Evinrude 175hp moto

"On a 1995 Evinrude 175hp motor is the blue pulse limiter really a check valve? Are you supposed to be able to blow air through it one way and not the other? Because mine I can blow air both ways. Just wondering if it is bad or not.

"You may blow, but if a pulse like from a crank case combustion, it should block. It 'limmits' the allowed pulse."
