"I need to pull a Aquamatic 100 volvo-Penta I/O out of a 1963 Thompson Lapstrake boat. I have never done anything like this before. I was hoping someone could detail what is involved in removing the engine from the boat. How does the motor and drive seperate? What precautions I need to take? I have access to a backhoe to life the engine free of the boat, but do not know how to actually remove it. Thanks."
