"When I dis-assembled the moto

"When I dis-assembled the motor, the intake manifold bolts had a slight flare to the head as it it had a built in flat washer. You know the type? Any how, upon re-assembly, I can find grade 5 or 8 bolts but unless I go to CHevy, I will not likely find these bolts as new...is it recommended to use flat or split ring washers on the intake manifold as well as the exhaust manifolds? Thanks AGAIN!"

Flat. get the good thick ones
