"I have a celebrity 200 bow rider with a mercruiser 5.7 V8 engine which was built approx 1991/92. I am not sure what the Hp is but want to buy an aluminium prop. The outdrive currently has a stainless prop which is quite large so acceleration is not red hot but good. Without the serial numbers i have no idea what age or type the outdrive is but a lot of adverts speak of a 14 spline hub. Is this a standard size hub for this age boat engine config? The boat is approx 20ft and weight approx 2850Lbs. Any ideas of a good size/pitch prop for this boat for skiing? I think the prop on it is a 21 pitch but will check next week. Although I am in the UK, I am visiting Florida for 2 weeks shortly so any suggestions of where to get a prop or props would be greatly appreciated. One other question... when using the boat at a slow speed, the temp gauge does not hardly register but it is working. Is this normal or do you reckon I need a thermostat in it? Thanks Guys."
