I have a 2004 Tohatsu 9.8hp 4 stroke motor. This spring I noticed a small oil leak coming from the lower unit so I ordered a new seal. Well, I could not get that seal to budge and in the process I managed to bend the propeller shaft housing and the seal is still stuck.
So, I assume that I need to get a new housing. Where do I get one and are there any sources for a used one?
Any tips for a smooth replacement so I don't trash something else?
