IF IT IS CORRODED ONTO THE SHA

IF IT IS CORRODED ONTO THE SHAFT CHECK YOUR MERCATHODE SYSTEM IF EQUIPPED AND/OR ALL YOU GROUNDING WIRES ON THE OD AND ENGINE. ALSO LOOK AT THE CONDITION OF ALL YOUR SACRIFICIAL ANNODES.

"[b]"you need to grease it

""you need to grease it up 2 times a year"

Ayuh,.......
It's amazing what a finger full of Grease will do.........

You might be able to jury rig a Puller to it,....
The block or Hardwood,+ BFH have done it in the past.......
'course,....... I've seen props that had to be Cut Apart to save a propshaft before too.....

Good Luck......."

Thanks for the suggestion guys

Thanks for the suggestion guys. This LU and prop were separated for about a year and my son in law put it on. There must have been some corrosion
present as it is proving difficult to budge. I'll give it a few hits today.
Regards
Bert

ruining your outing and OD. You might try a side looking transducer and fish finder. If rear mounted turn it 90 deg. so it faces forward and set the distance to view as you desire. Never done it; just thought about it."

Tilt the OD up/out and slowly

Tilt the OD up/out and slowly spray with PB Blaster; as much as it will take for 5 mins. It's a quality catalyst that eats corrosion. Tap it a few times with a block and mallet each direction and spray more PBB. Wait O'night and knock it loose. I use Merc's anti-corrosion grease on my prop shafts and never had one stick yet.
