I have a 165hp inline six OMC. The boat is a Skipjack 20' with a deep v hull. Can anyone explain what prop I should use? What do the numbers on pitch of prop have in relation to performance. I have 3 props, what would be a good prop pitch and diameter for my boat.? Thanks, Island Boy
 
you should use whatever prop gets your engine revving at 4000-4500 rpm at wide open throttle with a typical load of people and gear heading down the lake

if revs are over 4500, go UP in pitch to a higher number

if revs are below 4000, go DOWN in pitch
