hey guys, good day to ya. i have a 73 johnson 9.5 that i purchased used. it appears that the previous owner had either scraped bottom or maybe hit something as the prop has a small dent at the end of one of the fins. will this affect the performance or the bearings or can i run it this way? thanx in advance ...dimitri

If it's a small dent you may be able to hammer it back out. Just take prop off and lay it down flat on a piece of wood and try to get it to lie flat before you try to correct it.
It will affect performance slightly but you might not notice it because of the low hp engine...
