"Kevin, That prop may have a bit too much pitch. Check the compression on all six cylinders. If they are all 100+ PSI and even, put a timing light on each plug wire and make sure you have spark on all six. If so, put on a 17" pitch prop for better acceleration. What is you WOT RPM?"

"Hi there,

Are you trimming correctly? I've seen some guys not setting the motor right and planing could become an issue.

Also, have you tried shifting the weight around?

You could look at installing a pair of hyrdro foils, not a fan of them myself, others swear by them.

Regards!

Benjamin."

"My best results have been with a prop which will allow the motor to turn at or just above recommended max rpm with the lightest load possible in the boat. This means very little fuel, no extra gear, driver only (no passengers) and this assumes the motor is running correctly. The better stainless props allow a higher transom mounting height."
