"I ran over some unseen rocks and bent the heck out of my SS prop. After getting towed back in, I later installed a new prop and new hub that I picked up at my local Mercury Dealer. After installing, I tested it in the driveway and it worked fine; goes into gear, spins, etc. I tested it today on the water and it didn't go so well. Prop spins & boat moves OK at idle speed. But, when I give some serious gas, the sound changes, prop quits spinning, boat sits in water. When I go back to idle, the prop spins OK and I'm able to motor around. Can you offer up any suggestions? I have a 3.0 Mercruiser Inboard and a Alpha One Sterndrive."
