Can you change prop rotation on a 1989 cobra outdrive

OMC didn't come out with t

OMC didn't come out with the counter rotating drive until the Cobra and I believe it came out in 1988 only on the V6 and V8 models

No you can't change the ro

No you can't change the rotation without changing the drive. You would have to change the gears and many other parts. It's no where as simple as Volvo had made it. Worst case if you can't find a counter rotating drive you can put a right hand drive on. You will have some prop steer but some of that is adjustable with the trim tab on the bottom of the drive plus anyone that had twins prior to 1988 was like that anyway.
