"I recently bought a Tohatsu 2 stroke 25 short-shaft, used. So far everything checks out and I am really happy with the motor. I would like to have a couple of spare props and I am interested in recommendations for size and pitch. There seems to be some confusing info out there. My motor came with a 9.9x12. My manual doesn't list this size and Tohatsu's site recommends something else. Most of my use will be with 2 or three people and some camping and fishing gear, but this time of year I'm thinking moose hunting on rivers so packing more weight would be a good thing. I have a wide and deep 16 foot Naden boat with a fairly flat bottom. Previously I powered the boat with a 1985 Johnson 25, 10x13 prop."
