I have 4 blade SS prop that I had on a 94 Johnson 115. The 115 is in the process of getting fixed. I have a 83 Johnson 140 that is now on the boat ready to go. The problem is when I tried to put the Prop on the 140 seems to be rubbing the eninges housing or line cutter. So I looked at the 115 and it seems that the housing is rubbed away from the prop. Is this normal and does it hurt anything?? Called the prop guy said he could trim the prop a little.
