Prop pitch???

I have a 1994 Johnson 88 spl on my pontoon boat. What would be the best prop pitch to get for optimal pulling power and optimal speed??? Just with that info given, give me a number

Use WOT rpms when sizeing the prop. You dont have a big enough motor I wouldnt expect alot of speed.

I can't buy like 7 different props and try them all out, I need a number dude. A guesstimate

What is the size and pitch of your present prop? Is the engine running at 100%? What is the WOT rpm running with a light load? Every boat is different you need to find out what works best for your application. Give us more info for an educated guess. What are you towing, how heavy and big is the boat?
