"Hi folks, I'm like Arnie here ,I'm back! Took my beautiful merc800/1969 heart breaker out on Sunday for the first spin of the year and ran the prop

.Never even cleared the speed limit bouys.Anyway, is it still possible to get a hub kit for it, ser.# 49-3288-19 ? What tools would I need or is it hammer out and hammer in? Metaphoricaly speaking that is or what would the best replacement for it? It is 13/-19 pitch. Thank you for all your help"

"Noel, if the prop is otherwise still good, just take it into a prop shop - changing a pressed in hub is not something that you want to undertake in your garage (unless you have a press). Most places will put the new one in for between 20 and 30 bucks (including the hub itself)..."

"Cheers Graham, Hope there's a prop shop near Warminster, Philly, 'cause that's where I'm taking my holidays this summer. My very tolerant wife is going to give me odd looks when I put the prop in the luggage to head for the States. No prop shops in Ireland that I can find,but if anyone out there knows of any please let me know. Thanks again Graham"
