Prop for Grady 192 Tournament?

Hi-I've got a 2000 Grady White 192 Tournament. Just replaced the old Honda 130 with a 2009 Honda 150. Runs great (now, after fixing shift problems), but on the water I'm only getting 30kt (35 mph) and 5000 rpm WOT (supposed to be 5k-6k). I'm using a stainless Honda 15"x19 prop. Engine sounds reasonable, but just doesn't get the speed I expected. QUESTION: Is the prop pitch too big? Is it lugging? Thanks!

Grady is a heavy boat with a deep V, couple thoughts where did you mount the 150 engine on the bottom hole or one up on the transom? it might not improve your speed raising it and will defiantly affect your hole shot if too high, probably should mount same as the 130. As for the prop the solas prop finder says 14.75 x 17 or 16. Lugging if you have it loaded heavy and your only getting 3500 and not on plane then your lugging. if your getting 5000 rpm your not lugging but might be able to get more speed at 5500 with smaller prop. However a larger wheel not pitch is better at idle and fast idle and reverse there is more mass moving the water at slow rpms I could fell difference in smaller props on 150 in reverse backing into slips

Thanks! I found a 14.25x17 Honda prop on ebay and tried it. As HonDan mentioned I could feel a significant difference at idle. The old big 15x19 prop was pushing a lot of water at idle. Hard to go slow. This smaller one felt 'normal'. Now it runs at 32kts GPS and 6200RPM WOT. So problem solved. However, it is much more sensitive to trim. A couple nudges of trim and I can lose 3-5kts.
RE Engine Position: Same as the old 130. However, though I haven't measured, I feel like this engine sits a little higher, so the vent plate may sit 1/2" above the bottom of the boat. If I lower it another hole, and the plate is a touch below the bottom of the transom, how will that affect performance?

BTW--with the old 130 I was getting around 6k RPM WOT and 29kts GPS. So 15% more HP, 10% more speed.
FYI--I heard that Ken at 'PropGods' had great prop selection expertise, if you are looking.

I’d drop it one hole and see, you may see some improvement in the numbers but likely also in that sensitive trim which I assume wasn’t an issue with the 130? I think the weights of the 2 Hondas are very similar.

OK--Sounds like it could be up a bit too high. The 130 and 150 weights are about the same. The 130 didn't have trim sensitivity. Just ran like a champ. (Til the head corroded around the gasket - got water in 2&3 cylinders; Honda didn't even have the gasket anymore in stock).

My 130 is a 1999, always used in salt water, I keep my fingers crossed for corrosion failure. It’s on a 1986 Whaler, Outrage 18, top speed is about 35mph. Dry weight listed as 1250 lbs, not sure how that compares to your GW?

Some of the engine parts are available from the auto side- the 130 is the same block as the Accord from these years. It has a pcv- Honda marine no longer supplied it but the car dealer got me one.

That is exactly my 130 1999. On the heavier 19' GW it did ~32mph WOT. Wish I'd known about the accord head. I might have been tempted to fix it. But I lucked out (so far) with a 2009 150 from Palm Beach Outboards off ebay. LMK if you need 130 parts. I stripped most off, incl the lower unit.
