"I've got a mint condition

"I've got a mint condition 6hp Johnson from about 1980, with a 2 blade 8X7P propellor.
What happens if I replace it with a 3 blade 8x7P ?
More push? More Speed? or more strain on the motor? Or NONE of the above? HELP!"
