i had got this motor listed a

i had got this motor listed above it is a 1976 model it has ran great for the past two weeks and yesterday i did a compression check and every thong checked out ok and it still ren gret but when i went to start it this evening it would not start no spark so i diconected the yellow and black wire and it cranked right up so i ran a wire out the engine to kill it when i touch it on metal then it wouldnt idle it seemed like it was idleing to low and would stall when put into gearand was hard to start i got it sarted and choked a couple of times while it was running i also took off the air silincer and noticed that there was a whit looking oil stuff on the choke plates so i let it run for a bout 5 min a 2000 rpms in nuetal and it would then i dle but when throtle was advanced it didnt want to get up and go it would skip around but just wouldnt catch i did a compression check and all is at 120 psi i checked for spark on pluggs and there was so i am thinking that i may have some trash in the carb please help me out i would like to do some fishing thos weekend!

"Josh... That whitish looking oily stuff on the throttle plates suggests that there may be water mixed in with your fuel, or you had a empty fuel tank and put the full container of oil in it before adding the fuel which would load the carbs with pure oil and very little fuel.
