problems after hydrolocking 1987 260

I have an 87 260 MerCruser and the water pump went out and it hydrolocked. I changed the oil and spark plugs. Now it is running rough and it seems like it is missing. Just wondering where I can start trouble shooting?

Well If you water pump went out and it got very hot and seized, not hydrolocked. I would check the compression on both cyl, but if it is running rough you may have cooked a crank seal. That would be a best case senario, a piston and cyclender replacement is way more expensive.

It only got to 280 temp. It did hydrolock I pushed water out the spark plugs.
