"Please, I need some advice! My motor runs fine at idle to 1/2 throttle, then it starts cutting out, and bogging badly. Seems to run fine, until it warms up? I hope I didn't damage anything, I was on a fishing trip to Maine when problem arose, then pushed on one more day. I was pulling a water skier the day before problem occurred. They don't use Ethenol in their gas, as of last Sept. Someone thought that might be the problem. So I completely drained tank, but still runs horrible. Any advice on where to start, would greatly be appreciated."

Test by startin

Does it work?
Test by starting the engine and ground one of the brown leads going to the temp sensors (power pack side!)

"Thanks, I'll try it tomorrow, I'm not much of a mechanic, but I would love to troubleshoot this. I ordered a service manual, book and online, just tonight. I'm excited to start narrowing down the possible problems. i will keep you updated,thanks"
