Boat runs fine to start but after I bring it down to idle it will run for about 2 minutes and cut off. Once it is warm it will run for about 30 seconds and cut off. When I am trying to pull someone on ski and I go for the throttle it sounds real throaty and cuts off. I have to put it in idle and revv it up for a few seconds to get it going and once it settles back down I can put it in gear and get above 1/4 throttle and go. Once I am above 1/4 throttle it runs fine but if I slow back down it will cut off on me.
Seem like it is flooding the engine at lower rpms and when I try to give it throttle to pull a skier or just go faster it floods and cuts off.
I am no boat or engine expert but I have some experience with engines. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks
