"I have a 75hp Mariner that the #1 cylinder does not fire. it has spark,good compression and there is fuel in the float.How can I check for the problem or what could the problem be? I can turn the mixing screw all the way out and it will not change and I have changed the spark plug with a good one.Can someone please help? Thank you"

verify the cyl is trying to draw fuel/air through carb, put your hand over carb inlet and crank

no fuel to that cyl means no OIL"
 
I have already cleaned the car

I have already cleaned the carb/main jet.There is only a tiny bit of suction in #1 cylinder compared to #2 cylinder.What could be causing this? Thank you
 
If reeds are open you have no

If reeds are open you have no crankcase compresssion and no fuel tranfer to the cylinder and the cylinder will not produce power.
