Problem evolves - frustration continues - HELP 2002 8.1L

Summer long problem (see other posts on power loss and ecm). Initial problem was power loss while cruising and no tach on port engine - 2002 8.1. After checking fuel lines, filters, eliminating anti siphon valve, replacing high pressure and low pressure fuel pumps, and oil pressure sending unit and switch thought had problem fixed as took out for a cruise of 1/2 hour with no issues. Then addressed tach problem and determined ecm bad. Ordered reconditioned ecm from Crusader and installed, tach now works but port engine stalls out after about a minute at idle. Tried replacing both relays, but still have stall out problem. Any ideas. Whole summer has been a bust and would like to fix before putting away for winter...............

hmm... new (different) ECM, new problem. I'd target that new(er) computer. Or, you could take a different tact and look for missing ignition, missing fuel injection.

Try installing the ECM from the starboard engine and note the change.
