"1991 erude 70 on the primer solenoid on the end of the manual red switch is a valve, like on a car tire.does any one know what it for.? cheers"

"First off, are you sure it is a 1991 model? To answer your question there is fogging oil from OMC that has the valve connector so you can "Fog" the engine for extended storage time directly through the primer. My 83's have it but my 1990 only has the red switch (manual primer) and holes for a small tube to spray fogging oil into the carbs directly Like you get with WD-40."
