Primer Solenoid Wiring

'83 Johnson 75hp. Wiring is of the Frankenstein sort. Can I wire a momentary push button switch independent of the ignition switch for the primer solenoid? If so, how?

Sure, you just need to provide one wire to it.---------And 12 volts opens that valve to squirt fuel into the motor when it is cramking over.

Then it would obviously be already grounded so I put the switch in between the solenoid and 12 volt. Excellent! Thanks!!!
