Pressure testing block, Whats that sound?

Hi folks, New to this site and kinda new at marine engines as well but do have a good mechanical backround.
Anyway got this 5.7 engine in my Sea Ray that got water in the oil as well as the cylinders on one side. Took the riser and manifolds off and there is a bad gasket on the riser letting water into cylinders on that side. Still worried about a possible crack in the block as not sure how much water can get to oil by way of manifold leak so i decide to pressure test block. Get everything plugged up to the block and ad 15psi, now i can hear a faint leak but it sounds like it could be coming from the water pump on front of engine (pump seal?),Possable?. it takes 5 minutes or so to leak all the air out. Guess what i am getting at is hoping someone with more experience could let me know what to listen for, of course the air shouldn't leak at all but don't want to put in a new engine if it could be something as simple as a water pump Thanks for your help.

...it sounds like it could be coming from the water pump on front of engine...

There is a small weep hole on the underside of the pump shaft. When the shaft bearing seals wear out it drips. Pump up the pressure again and stick your fingers around the shaft and feel for the weep hole. You'll know if it's leaking. Replace the pump w/a marine grade pump unless the engine is FWC...Fresh Water Cooled w/antifreeze and heat exchanger.
