Considering a boat with 200HP HPDI motors. I'd like to disconnect the oil injection and premix. Can anyone advise if they've done this? Yea, Yea, flame on...everyone says don't premix. If you've blown one up that may change your mind!"

Yamaha do not have problem with their oil injection, but to run premix in the engine will lead to no lubrication in the crank area and bearings then running lean due to the viscosity change (oil & fuel mix)going through the injectors."
