Powersteering to Mercruiser Alpha one gen2

I hae a bayliner 192 with a mercruiser enginer. The steering is manual and its fine for me but it can be a struggle for my daughters. Is it possible to put a power steering unit on this and how big a job is it?

Ayuh,.... It's doable,...... You need the actuator, the pump, 'n brackets for yer motor, 'n the lines, 'n cooler,.....
Depending on the space available, pulling the motor, might make the job more reasonable,....

If you could find a "junk" V8 or V6 boat with a bad engine or hull that is being parted out, you could salvage all the parts needed.
