"I have a 1972,20HP, Johnson, Model No.#20R72R that I need to remove the powerhead from so I can replace the gasket and fix broken motor mounts and loose cowling.I want to leave carborateur, fuel pump, flywheel and etc. mounted to powerhead if possiable? I have removed four 5/16's bolts from underneath the outside of engine, disconnected ground wire screwed to side of powerhead and gas hose line at gas hose connection plug in.I cant get powerhead to break loose from exhaust housing. Is there a hidden bolt I missed? Do I have to disconnect the shifting rod for powerhead removal?Any help info would be greatly appreciated"The Sturgeon General"."
