"I have an '86 merc 60 hp and the outside covering on the powerhead is partially cracked/missing I have it taped over, but it looks like crap, does anyone know if I can get an in-tact replacement for it?"

"Nick, that "clamshell" cover is no longer available from Merc and was almost 300 bucks when they did stock it.

Best bet is probably Ebay or an outboard recycler..."
