Here's a post I made earlier this morning:
When you open the throttle, you are pushing up to 90 horses there, the small trim motor will not, easily, lift the bow. It should be able to trim the bow down as the motor's power will naturally assist the trim motor.
It's not a good idea to trim the bow up when under throttle as the trim motor cannot fight those 90 ponies.
Then seals could be shot in the trim pump, poor electrical connectivity [read: voltage drop] in trim loom, open release valve as Jamie suggested?
Does motor sag when trimmed up on the trailer? If so, it's a pump issue. Seals, release screw loose or low oil.
