2001 dpx 375 trim quit working

2001 dpx 375 trim quit working. When switch is activated clicking noise at pump. I'm on vacation and must trailer back to home. If repair unavaliable can lower unit be manually raised?

Is it stuck in the down or launch position?
You might try the "desperation" love taps on the motor with a hammer to see if this helps.
