I’ve got a good running 1983 Mercury 70hp (6323502), and just got a new boat with a 1987 power trim 70hp Mercury (OB302028) on it.
Motor is blow on new boat, can I swap the ‘83 engine onto the ‘87 power trim? It doesn’t appear to be compatible, wondering if there’s an adapter kit option or something. I’d prefer this (1) to have power trim and (2) to not have to drill new mount holes.
