Power steering seems to stick

"The steering seems to "stick" when I steer. It doesn't feel like it's a cable sticking but more like the power steering.

When I turn from side to side, it will move fine, stick for a second or two, and then continue on as it should."

I'm having the same problem with my 2002 VP 5.0 GXI. Anybody have any answers?
