"What is the compression readi

"What is the compression reading of all cylinders?

With the spark plugs removed, the spark should jump a 7/16" gap with a strong blue lightning like flame.... a real SNAP! Does it?

S/Plugs should be Champion QL77JC4 plugs, gapped at .040 .

Inspect the stator under the flywheel. If cracked bad and/or leaking a substance down on the timer base and powerhead area, replace it as that would cause a voltage drop to the powerpack.

Thousands of parts in my remaining stock. Not able to list them all. Let me know what you need and I'll look it up for you. Visit my eBay store at:

"we have a 1977, 6 hr evinrude. The bottom plug is not firing. We have been told by local mach that the power pack is most likely the problem.
Do you agree? How do I check it out? Do you have the power pack if I need one? Thanks very much."
