Power Loss/spedometer not working

Hi all. I'm a recent boat owner and just ran into my first problem. I've taken my boat out 3-times (2008 Crestliner Canadian with a 60hp efi Mercury). The last time out, I could only get about 1/4 power. The rpms seemed to be right but it wasn't translating to thrust. At the same time, the spedometer wasn't registering, so I thought the issues were linked.

Any ideas? The prop looks fine, and all the fuses appear ok...

The speedo won't register until above 20 mph. On the back of the speedo is a rubber hose. Remove it and try to blow through it. If you can't then apply some compressed air to it to dislodge any crud in the pickup. Check the fuel for water. Pull the spark plugs and read the burn pattern...they all need to be medium brown in color. White means too lean, black and oily deposits it's burning oil, black sooty deposits it's too rich. If the plug looks clean and new it's either not firing at all or it's getting water in the cylinder.
