possiable air leak in fuel line. 1988 120 evinrude

I wondered what kind of performance problems there would be if you had a air leak between the VRO and the carbs.My motor still seems to run uneven a WOT.Checked primer bulb and fuel pump also did a water filter and checked compression ok 120 even.I went to a 3/8 line because the new fuel lines are so stiff they are hard to get on.

Between the VRO and the carburetors the fuel is under pressure !--------Fuel would leak out and no air can leak in.

thanks,im going to check the line between the tank and pump.

it was a defective power pack causing all the trouble.might replace all units as a precaution.
