Pore idle

1990 115hp mercury 4cy. Idle it's suppose to run on which 2 cylinders? May be getting to much oil in fuel. How do you adjust oil pump or do you just replace?

It only runs on the top 2 at idle.----------Do a compression test and post the actual values here.----Yes , the oil pump can be adjusted using information found in the factory manual.
