i want to convert my points st

i want to convert my points style ignition in the distrubitor(SP) to a electronic style. its a 3.7L 180hp inline four cyclinder mercruiser. does anyone know of a kit avalible for this motor????

After reading the specs. it appears that it will work. It's a solid state, thermally protected, low current draw digital module. It will be inside of a high heat environment so make sure you use electronic heat sink transfer grease under it. My only concern is the dissipation of generated heat; solid state devices don't like heat and tend to die off quickly w/o some type of cooling. The distributor is not cooled like an alternator and therefore will cook. I would go with the tried and tested other system; just my opinion."
